More and more academic researchers pay attention to simulation of wireless sensor networks. The simulation program design and development process in TinyOS2.x are described in detail. Firstly the advantages of TOSSIM are analyzed, and briefly the compiling principles of TOSSIM and Python language features are introduced. And simulation program of a single node, simple network simulation program, variable detecting simulation program, simulation program of the information source are given out,and correspondly give some views about simulation. The experimental results indicate that TOSSIM can do well in simulation and reflect the reliable objective data.
