Abstract: |
Wearable computer, with its mini or super-mini size, wearable characteristic and optimal combination and collaboration of human and machine, is a new personal mobile computing system. In view of the importance and urgency of the fire fighting and rescuing by fire fighting force, wearable computer is applied on the equipment of fire fighting and rescuing, the hardware design and the communication network of wearable computer are discussed. If wearable computer has these capabilities, such as waterproof, anti-shock, broad temperature, anti-electromagnetism interference performance and so on, it can help fireman to conduct real-time interaction with the environment and improve fireman’sensibility to the environment. The application of wearable computer on fire-fighting equipment can strengthen the fighting capacity of fire fighting and rescuing, optimize fire service equipment, ensure the life safety of fireman, quarantee the stability and unity of whole society. This may be of some help for future research and development of the application of wearable computer.
