Special Issue on Teaching and Teacher Education


Teacher education refers to the policies, procedures, and provision designed to equip prospective teachers with the knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and skills they require to perform their tasks effectively in the classroom, school, and wider community. Teachers play important role in educational systems that will shape the knowledge and skills of future generations.


In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on teaching and teacher education. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Teaching methods and skills
  • Teacher–student interactions
  • Knowledge, attitudes and behaviors
  • Collaboration and motivation
  • Teacher’s role and leadership
  • Teaching technology and innovation
  • Curriculum design and classroom management
  • Assessment and quality assurance
  • Educational policy and reforms for teachers
  • Professional knowledge and competence
  • Professional training and development
  • Occupational health and coping strategies

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue –Teaching and Teacher Education” should be chosen during your submission.
