Special Issue on Education and COVID-19 Pandemic
“Education
and COVID-19 Pandemic” refers to the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic on
educational institutions and systems. The pandemic has disrupted traditional
classroom learning and forced schools and universities to adopt new methods of
teaching, such as remote and online learning. Research in this area examines
the challenges and opportunities presented by remote learning, including
disparities in internet access and the effectiveness of various remote teaching
methods. It also explores the effects of the pandemic on student mental health,
academic performance, and long-term educational outcomes. Additionally, studies
under this topic investigate policy responses to the pandemic in the education
sector, such as government funding for online learning resources and the
implementation of safety measures in schools and universities.
