Special issue on Fatty Acids
Call for Papers
Fatty acids are a group of biologically active molecules, including saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and trans fatty acids, with varied lengths and nature of covalent bonds. Although fatty acids play a role, whether protective or detrimental, in a wide array of diseases, their effects on risks of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome have received the most attention in clinical nutrition. The debate is still ongoing, and controversies in findings still exist reporting both positive and negative contribution of fatty acids to the prevention and management of these diseases.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Fatty Acids.
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission.Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Paper Submission System.
