Special
Issue on Emergency Medicine
Emergency medicine is a medical
specialty - a field of practice based on the knowledge and skills required for
the prevention, diagnosis and management of acute and urgent aspects of illness
and injury affecting patients with a full spectrum of undifferentiated physical
and behavioral disorders. It further encompasses an understanding of the
development of pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency medical systems and the
skills necessary for this development. Emergency
medicine physicians diagnose a variety of illnesses and undertake
acute interventions to resuscitate and stabilize patients, but not usually
provide long-term or continuing care.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers
and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Emergency
Medicine.
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully
before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue’’ under
your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special
issue - Emergency Medicine” should be chosen during your
