Special Issue on Infant and Child Nutrition
Food
provides the energy and nutrients that babies need to be healthy. Good
nutrition is essential to the rapid growth and development that occurs during
infant and child life. An age-appropriate diet is one that provides adequate
nutrition, is appropriate for a child’s state of development, and gives them
the opportunity to enjoy new tastes and textures as they establish good eating
habits.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring infant and child nutrition. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Infant development and feeding skills
-
Food safety
-
Nutrition and health
-
Infant and child feeding
-
Preventing obesity in childhood
-
Baby malnutrition and prevention
-
Food quality of infant and child food
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Infant and Child Nutrition” should
be selected during your submission.
