Special Issue on Heavy Metal Pollution

Heavy Metal Pollution is a prime environmental concern that threatens plant, animal, and human health, as well as the quality of the environment. Unlike organic pollutants, heavy metals once introduced into the environment cannot be biodegraded. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Heavy Metal Pollution.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Heavy Metal Pollution. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Metal toxicity
• Heavy metals contamination in soil
• Heavy metals contamination in water
• Heavy metals contamination in air
• Heavy metals in the ecosystem
• Heavy metal tolerance in plants
• Heavy metal-polluted land
• Effects on plant, animal, and human
• Heavy metal pollutants (such as mercury, lead and cadmium)

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Heavy Metal Pollution” should be selected during your submission.
